Mann Island - Overage Payment Determined

A successful outcome for Edmund Kirby following the determination of the overage issued in October 2009.
Acting for the former owners of the Mann Island site to the south of Liverpool’s Pierhead which had been sold the NWDA in 2002, Edmund Kirby have been handling representations to the independent expert appointed to determine the quantum, if any, of any overage payment due following the sale of the site on by the NWDA to Neptune/Countryside in 2007. The determination of the overage was issued on the 5 October confirming that the sale by NWDA was at undervalue and that a substantial sum of money as overage was determined as due and payable by NWDA. This was a very successful outcome as the NWDA had argued that no such overage was payable.
