The outcome of the Public Inquiry earlier this year into the proposals and the Transport and Works Act Order is awaited.
Edmund Kirby pursued objections on behalf of a number of clients and these led to agreements with Halton Borough Council for advanced sales so that a number of manufacturing businesses could start work on planned relocations to protect the ongoing businesses. Some manufacturing processes will take between 18 months and two years to relocate and, in spite of the bridge proposals not yet being approved, because of the agreements client business are well on with a number of major industrial relocations working closely with us and Halton Borough Council. Edmund Kirby’s clients include a number of UK and international companies all operating in world markets.
